Overview

The AdaptaLight Stackable Beacon is a unique audible-visual signaling device which can contain up to 5 light modules and a pulsating Horn in a single "stack". It is CSA Certified for both indoor and outdoor installations. All modules are gasketed.

Base Unit

The base of the AdaptaLight Stackable Beacon contains a pulsating Horn rated at 85dB at 10 feet. The horn can be operated as a sixth independent signal or in conjunction with any one of the light modules.

Electrical inter-connection between units is through solid copper busses. Each module is positively connected to the one below by a solid through-bolt and an attachment screw between the lens and module. A screw-type terminal strip in the base allows for positive connection to each module.

Light Modules

The light modules are available in six colours: red, amber, blue, green, magenta, and clear. Double Fresnel Lexan® Lenses provide a 360 degree non-shadowed light pattern. As many as five light modules in any combination of colour or type can be stacked on the base unit.

Steady-On Halogen Module

The Steady-On Light module provides a constant visual signal. It is ideal for start/stop functions, on/off processes or continuous duty visual signaling applications. When installed with the multiple colour modules and the pulsating horn the unit can be configured to visually and/or audibly communicate status changes.

Steady-On LED Module

The long life (100,00 hours) Steady-On LED Module provides a constant visual signal. It is ideal for start/stop functions, on/off processes or continuous duty visual status indicating applications.

Flashing Halogen Light Module

The Flashing Halogen Light commands immediate attention. It works well as a warning signal when used with the steady-on module. Applications include audible and visual signalling of equipment malfunction.

Flashing LED Module

The Flashing LED Module also commands attention and works well as a status indicating signal and is ideal where long life (100,000 hours) is a requirement. Applications include audible and visual signaling of equipment malfunction.

Flashing Strobe Module

The AdaptaLight Strobe module is ideal for high ambient light areas and can be used to effectively signal urgent status changes. Any number of the self-contained strobe modules can be used in the AdaptaLight (up to five) and in any position(s) in the stack.
