INPUT DEVICES

Overview

The 270 Series non-coded station will activate a positive alarm by pulling the alarm handle out and down. The station also provides a normally open alarm contact with a rating of 3 amps at 30VAC/60 Vdc. The finish is red enamel with aluminum markings.

Two versions are available. The SPOW series uses wire leads for field wiring connections. The SPO series is equipped with a terminal block for connecton of field wiring up to 12 AWG max.

The hardy die-cast housing is finished with Fire Red alkyd baking enamel complemented by painted aluminum stripes and markings. English, French, and Bilingual models are available.

The 270 series Manual Stations can be semi-flush or surface mounted. The semi-flush style mounts to a recessed 4” (100mm) standard North-American electrical box with a single gang 1/2” (12mm) raised plaster cover. Surface mounting requires Catalogue number 27193-11 surface mount box.
