Overview
The 58 Series AdaptaBeacon is a high profile, heavy duty rotating beacon in a NEMA 4X enclosure designed to meet Division 2 hazardous location requirements in industrial, commercial or institutional applications. When activated, this easy-to-maintain unit will command immediate attention. The 58 Series features a motor driven light intensifying reflector which rotates around a long life and easy-to-relamp 100 watt bayonet base type halogen lamp.
This rotating beacon is CSA Certified for use in Class I, Division 2, Groups A,B,C & D; Class II, Division 2, Groups F & G; and Class III Hazardous Locations. It is supplied in a CSA Certified NEMA 4X enclosure.
The 58 Series was designed for NEMA 4X and Division 2 hazardous location applications. It is best suited for noisy areas where a rotating light commands attention over the surrounding ambient sounds or brightly lit areas- where this 100 watt Halogen bulb will cut through existing ambient light to warn of danger to personnel, inform of equipment status change and communicate malfunction or alert to security breach.

Applications
The 58 Series rotating beacon is ideally suited for applications where high ambient noise levels make audible signals difficult to hear or other types of visual signals (strobes or flashing lights) hard to distinguish. The 58 series has been designed for indoor, outdoor (weatherproof) and NEMA 4X installations. For outdoor (weatherproof) applications the unit must be conduit mounted with dome facing up. The base mounts on a 3/4" (19) NPT conduit. The Lexan® Lens dome is available in 6 colours: Red, Amber, Blue, Green, Magenta and Clear.
