Insulation Tubes
Flexible Closed Cell Elastomeric Pipe Insulation
- Tubes are black and unslit
- Available in 3/8", 1/2", 3/4" and 1" wall thickness for 1/4" to 3 1/8" OD copper tube size
- Foamed nitrile rubber (NBR)
- Environmentally friendly CFC free
- Temperature range -40°C to 105°C (special build available to -200°C)
- Will not harden or become brittle at temperatures as low as -40°C
- Talc coating on inner surface allows for quick, easy installation over pipes
- Odourless and will not corrode copper
- Standards: CAN/ULC S102.2, ASTM E84, DIN52 218, DIN 52 612, DIN 52 613, DIN 52 615, BS 476 Part 6, BS 476 Part 7, RoHS compliant
- Self-extinguishing fire reaction and will not drip
- Fibre and dust free
This product is made from a closed cell elastomeric material. It is soft, flexible, heat and cold resistant, flame retardant, waterproof, shock and sound absorbing. Wraptite Insulation tubes are dust free, fiber free, CFC free, and have an ODP of zero. They are also formaldehyde free, have low VOCs, and are resistant to mold and mildew.
