The GM40AVE-RD89 is a universal, electronic time switch designed for general purpose residential and commercial applications. The robust 40 A time control automatically detects the input voltage without the use of a DIP switch or selector pins. The time switch automatically selects any voltage between 120 VAC and 277 VAC. The mechanism is mounted in a compact UL Type 3R outdoor enclosure and can also be easily retrofitted into other Intermatic enclosure types. The time control features a DPDT switching configuration standard (i.e. two normally open and two normally closed contacts).

Up to 14 ON/14 OFF (28 events) can be preset to automatically repeat every day. These timers allow for up-to-the-minute programming, battery backup for power loss, and automatic daylight saving time adjustments without the need for user interaction. All models come with two industrial grade AAA alkaline batteries to provide time keeping and automatic carryover for a minimum of three years. The batteries are easily replaced in the field without requiring removal of the time switch mechanism or field wiring. The ET2815C 365/7-Day Astronomic Electronic Control features independent 7-day programming for convenient flexibility when load switching differs daily. This electronic control provides dependable and uncomplicated performance, plus to-the-minute programming for accurate load control and reduced energy costs. Up to 48 ON and 48 OFF events can be preset to automatically repeat. Each event can be applied to any combination of circuits and days. Each circuit can be independently scheduled for Astronomic (Dusk/Dawn) ON/OFF events. In addition, the programming can be easily disabled by changing to the manual operating mode. An additional mode of operation allows for ON/OFF buttons to be used as a 2-hour override, in compliance with current regulations. Manual circuit control buttons operate circuits independently, based on the mode of operation. 50 Holiday Block Scheduling exception dates are available to prevent regularly scheduled events, or allow for a holiday schedule.
