Body
UV stabilized NEMA 5-15R thermoplastic face, buttons and back body for high impact cold resistance and breakage elimination. Stainless steel straps and mounting screws, as well as conformally coated PC board to protect critical components from moisture. Includes wall plate.

Tamper Resistance
Dual shutter mechanism inside the receptacle blocks access to the contacts unless a two-prong plug is inserted, helping ensure foreign objects, such as paper clips, keys, etc., will be locked out.

Wiring Terminals
This 2-pole, 3-wire grounding receptacle features two push-in holes per terminal that accept #14 AWG solid wire for added wire flexibility, pig-tailing elimination and box space saving. Additional side wire terminals accept up to #10 AWG solid wire. Ground terminal provides continuous ground fault protection – detects and trips on actual ground fault even when self-test is being conducted. Wire strip gauge on back body to measure wire size.

Auto-Monitoring
An auto-monitoring function provides internal circuit self-testing. If a problem is detected, the red light will turn on immediately, and it will no longer provide a ground fault circuit protection. Power and Protection Status indicator light provides simple, intuitive feedback on power and protection status as well as indication of line/load reversal.

Applications
Ideal for use in damp locations that are protected from the weather as well as wet locations that are subject to water saturation. Code-compliant for use in patio, deck and pool areas. Designed for residential and commercial applications.
