The Kwikon® Adapter connects Cor-Line® 3/4” ENT and a 1/2” Female Adapter to make a connection to armoured cable. This unique product will save contractors time from having to field assemble the combination of fittings or cement the female adapter to an EMT stub.

AC90 (BX) cable is used for open and concealed wiring in dry locations, where the nonmetallic raceways (Cor-Line ENT) are not allowed to be exposed due to flame and smoke requirements of the CEC. AC90 cable is widely used in construction as a cost effective alternative to conduit wiring eliminating the need for conduit, fittings, and the labour associated with pulling in wire, threading, and forming conduit. However, in slab construction, the cable needs to be connected to the Cor-Line ENT and the new KFA 15/10 fitting accommodates this installation requirement。

Features and Benefits:

  • Easily connects AC90 wire to Cor-Line ENT for a secure connection
  • Provides connection between 3/4” ENT and a 3/8” AC90 Connector (with 1/2” hub)
  • Used in high-rise construction saving time and money during installation
  • Allows for the transition from EMT or any metal male thread
