Trunkties are a simple solution designed to hold, hang, or tag things in position relative to an unpopulated RJ45 ethernet port. Their most common use is to hold tags for identifying network ports, but our customers have found countless creative applications for their use.

The RJ Patch Cord Lock works on patch cords that don’t have a strain relief, as well as ones that do.  To attach the lock to the modular plug, first slide the lock over the patch cord.  Then insert the patch cord into the RJ45 jack.  Next, slide the lock forward under the tab.  Finally, secure the two outer set screws down onto the modular plug.

Jack Locks can give you the extra physical security that you need.  The Jack Locks can be used in a variety of locations.  For example, blocking unused ports on a switch to prevent unauthorized access.  The RJ45 Jack Lock can prevent damage of an upgrade port on a wide range of devices.  POS customers use this device to add security to their network and help prevent tampering with credit card machines.  (PCI Compliant)

The RJ45JLP are Jack Locks that are color coded with their own key.  For example, only the red key will work on the red locks.  These are great for networks to identify the ports.  Red could mean bad port, yellow could be printers and green could identify a good port, but you need to contact head of IT before adding device.  Jack Locks don’t just stop unauthorized use of ports but can help organize your network.

The patent pending USB Locks are a lockable port blocker.  Install them without any tools, just slide the USB port block fully into the port.  To remove the USB port blocker, insert the tool provided, slide it towards the enter of the block out device and then pull towards you.
